A Wisconsin Democratic lawmaker was criticized over social media for using the term "birthing bodies" instead of women while tweeting about the potential reversal of Roe V. Wade.
State Rep. Francesca Hong made the substitution in a Monday evening tweet following the news of the leak of an alleged draft of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito's majority opinion to revoke the landmark 1973 case.
Since the leak, many Democrats have reaffirmed their pro-choice stance.
Birthing bodies have the right to freedom. Deciding if or when to become a parent is one of the most personal, life-changing decisions," Hong tweeted. "Access to abortion & reproductive care is a decision we must trust each person to make based on what’s best for their health & their future."
The omitting of "women" prompted some to respond via social media.
"A. We have a name. B. Birthing bodies doesn't even make sense since women getting abortions are literally not birthing," a tweet from the publication, Evie Magazine, read.
Ben Shapiro, founder of the Daily Wire, also weighed in.

“Birthing bodies”: If it has had an abortion, it will not give birth, therefore it cannot be a “Birthing Body”. Perhaps, “non-birthing body” would be more accurate.
It’s amazing how so many different isolated civilizations all independently decided that their language should have words for “man” and “woman,” “mother” and “father.”
But now that our civilizations have gotten together and realize we’re all on the same page, the Left has decided that all of our independent, isolated heritages were wrong this whole time!
I guess the Left is just smarter than nature.
There are no women in the Democrat Party.

the dehumanizing term, “birthing body”, reminds me a lot of the Axlotl Tanks in Dune which were made from female bodies ...
“Birthing bodies” really does relegate women to the status of livestock. Islam and Communism are really not terribly different in their effects on society. Islam is more efficient of the two because it does not depend on enforcement of the rules by the ruler Neighbors will keep neighbors and family members will keep family in line. You say something that sounds to a neighbor like blasphemy and the neighbor feels he has a duty to kill you and there is no repercussion from the rulers.

Last I checked, it's God who creates life. Not just the (oppressive) cisbiogametes. Nor the doulpersons.
We need to compare the incidence of drug abuse, Taco Bell or McDonald's carryout, domestic violence, joblessness, father absence, undetermined paternity, stable citizenship or immigration status, and general adulting accomplishments in the three groups before just throwing a statistic out there. But of course, that would be raycizz.
