I might have laid off the handcuffs and leg shackles for the black students, but that's just me.

There’s no cotton anywhere near Rochester NY.

In general, that’s not a good career move.

um.. seems like a good teacher.

why gloss over history? I thought the left wanted everyone to learn everything about history both good and bad?

This is the guy who brought a cotton plant to class to show students how difficult the plant is to pick. He’s in a predominantly black district. There’s nothing the msm can’t twist around.

“um.. seems like a good teacher.”

I agree with you. In addition, I think that it was good for the black students to learn from the experience so that they could no longer complain about their being ‘enslaved’ because they were never enslaved.

“He gave the whole class cotton, and we were made to pick out the cotton seeds.”

Half the class was white.

The interesting parts:

The teacher referred to himself as “massah”.
“He said, ‘Better clean it right, boy.’”

This guy was seriously into playing the part.

It figures...Rochester is now almost totally run by blacks....all the boards.

One of the big items that came up in the past was a picture of Little black children on one of the Marquees on our Sea Breeze carousol. The Black Watch Board removed it as being offensive and replaced it with a Black Panther. Do they have an agenda?? Ya think??

You can teach history without the BS in-class method-acting and LARPing.

Well, I guess cotton farming has come to upstate New York as a result of global warming. How are the rice and peanut crops up there doing this year.

What is this obsession on slavery about? Good grief. Why don’t we re-enact burning witches also?

Picking the seeds out of one cotton bill each was probably the most work any of the kids have done in a year.

If the teacher did make his students do this, it was a dumb decision knowing how ‘3rd Rail’ that topic of American Slavery is, especially today, with people beating the drums for Reparations. With the right kind of student and school environment, such as was more common some 40 years ago, this would be a good lesson, for students of any color. The students all knew it was just play acting anyway.

"Parents at the school, where half the students are Black, are calling for the teacher to be fired."

Black students pick cotton and wear shackles during slavery lessons

Picking cotton = voting Democrat.

Wearing shackles = living in the ‘Hood.

Perfect metaphor for modern feral blacks.

The allegations came to light after Precious Tross, the mother of student Ja'Nasia Brown, posted a photo on Facebook of the cotton her daughter was given in class.

Precious "Drop Dead Gorgeous" Tross was one Mom and Vialma Ramos mother of Jahmiere O'Neal was the other.

I hope the teacher didn't get the names mixed up.
