You know there was this restaurant in Longview that was called Sams Seafood a fews years back and they served HUGE Shrimp at a low cost and it was all that around here ,until all found out they imported their Shrimp which was huge size from Thailand!

They went under fast!

We all live so close to the Gulf and thought,why!

I was doing an audit in Thailand once, and we had an offshore facility & onshore warehouse in Songkhla, a small town in the southern part of Thailand. The locals took us to a restaurant right on the beach, just feet from the water. They literally set up folding chairs & tables in the sand.

They sauteed those huge shrimp, right out of the gulf, in garlic. We ate until we were stuffed. And on a hot, very humid Thailand night, the cold beer was especially good. One of the best meals I ever had.
