Oh, no, Judy!
This is so scary.
I have a friend who fell, while visitng her parents…and, no one there, at the house, could get her up (elderly parents, older sister). She had to call the fire department, to come get her up!
I cannot even imagine….but, I know the knees were not helping you!
Years ago, I saw a vintage clip of Jack LaLanne saying….you must always continue to do squats and push ups, in order to have the strength (in your arms and legs) to get yourself up, should you fall.
So….those are two exercises I try to do, religiously, even if I don’t have time to walk and/or work out.
I hope the arm is better, soon as well as the sore legs. Glad it wasn’t worse..and, that your smirking, sweet son was able to come to your rescue 💞
Jack LaLanne was right. I was able to get onto my knees for a bit, but the pain was so awful that I had to sit down again. If I had good strength in my legs I would have been ok. Squats I will do - pushups? Lololo no pushups (that just puts me on the floor again) but we have a piece of equipment in the little gym with resistance bars that will be the equivalent of pushups. I have a bike I can put resistance on as well, plus a few other pieces that are there. Unfortunately, the only resistance exercises I’ve been doing recently are resisting any exercise! Other than a bit of walking.
