Not quite sure exactly how quantify ”old”, but I figure I’m in the ballpark.
I never got the shot(s).
CDC/FDA pulling a vaccine out of their ass not much more than a year out of the gate, gave me pause.
Thus far, as far as I know, I’ve encountered sniffles, cough’s , runny nose, sore throat. No ‘Rona”.
Not to say I haven’t had it, let alone been exposed to it, but those are my ‘symptoms’ to date.
Still kicking.
Someone, please explain to me why I would want to weaken my immune system with the vax when it is already compromised by old age or something else already.
I got the first two Pfizer shots on 3/6/21 & 3/27/21, the seasonal Flu shot on 8/28/21 and the Pfizer ‘booster’ on 11/2/21. No adverse effects since day one. Yet.

I’m part of the older folks cohort...been exposed directly at least 3 times in past year...take lots of supplements and try to eat/exercise right...have not yet gotten sick....I do think people are different...I had an intwresting virus in my 20s and have had Hashimotos so I’m not interested in getting a shot to challenge those. I know whats best for ME!
Old people are on government health programs, and Social Security. Most of them have a few bucks (life savings). Most own property, house, car, ect, free and clear. Most get some sort of pension after a lifetime of work. Yeah they should probably all get a death shot to get them the hell out of the way. Remember, “It’s for the greater good”. I think the government feels that way. More money for them to steal. Am I wrong?
We older citizens are not apt to do what gov says we have to do.

Your mom almost same basics as mine.
I’m inclined to think, IF the vases worked well, and didn’t pose risks themselves, it would be best for elderly.
However, YMMV.
My mother: DEC. 2020. 84yo (now), COPD possibly just because of major double scoliosis imposing on her lungs. Frail and thin, but not really many problems officially. Hermit who doesn’t do anything, really. She was the first of my immediate circle to get COVID. She was fine. Had a cold, got over it in a week, no doctors except to discuss it televisit and get a test there.
My MIL: died Jan 6, 2021 (yes). Was 77 and quickly got pneumonia in a bad way and it killed her. Seemed very active and together and was organized and outgoing. But, definitely obese. Also had unknown coughing problem for about 2 years, and pre-diabetic, and apparently also took high BP meds (we didn’t know that). Half suspect she also suffered from living alone as no one was there to tell her she needed to be seen.
Also, my mom’s friend started the COVID round for us. She is like 88 now and had been obese, very disabled, but she had no problem with the disease.
Again, plenty elderly survive, just not as many as the “underage”.
So, cost-benefit is still questionable.
Plus.. I do NOT trust a single thing the government of the United States tells me or reports anywhere.
In my years, they have become my enemy in trust... Sad to know I once thought well of them... And today not a one can be trusted... Corruption in everything in gov.. How else do they screw the public every day.
They also are the last truly proud American generation, pre-hippie.
Leftists love to get rid of them.
If shots can kill the young, they can do the same to the old
As ridiculous as it gets, folks. This data is easily available, or just ask any doctor or medical professional that has been treating actual COVID patients during the pandemic.
Then following-up using Stew Peters and Alex Jones as additional sources, and "whistleblowers" reporting events that didn't occur.

Thank you. I am Trying to be vigilant. My Dad and I are strongly against the clotshot. And we are doing our best to stay informed.
Look at the numbers of people in nursing homes that died from covid before the vaccines. Then, look at the numbers after. As bad as the vaccines might be for other groups, it minimized deaths in nursing homes. At least, it did in our three local nursing homes.
Also, the action of zinc + quercetin.
