Imagine if Putin and the West had reached an understanding early on and worked cooperatively without trying to one up the other.

Overthrowing an elected President with Strong Support does not happen in Democracies. After unknown Armed Militants drove out President Yanukovich, 3 Russian Speaking Ukrainian Oblasts (states) seceded. This is a civil war that McCain, though dead, bears responsibility. Russia seems to be securing the future of the Russian Speaking Republics of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk
