In a Twitter full of George Takeis, be a William Shatner.
Seriously.
We’ve lost count of the number of ‘entertainers’ aka Hollywood types who have lost their freakin’ minds over Twitter accepting Elon Musk’s offer to buy them. But not William Shatner.
Granted, he’s not a thin-skinned, emotional harpy looking for verification and vindication on Twitter for his biased or sad narrative …
His response was perfect:
BTW, since it seems to be the latest “thing” on here. I’m stating that I’m staying on Twitter. Besides I think @elonmusk is adorbs. Also, full disclosure: I’m trying to pitch Elon to hire me as face of Twitter. #dumpthebird 😉😏

You know, that could work.
#DropTheBird
Actually, that hashtag works for many reasons but we digress.
Not a Tribble? pic.twitter.com/geX0POhD6j

A Twitter Tribble.
Hrm.
There could be potential here. Maybe. The alliteration itself works very well.

OMG MAKE THIS HAPPEN. NOW THIS EDITOR REALLY WANTS ONE!
It did just occur to me that your buddy George might go apoplectic if this were to happen…

As we said above, be a Shatner, not a Takei.
He totally should.

He could play Spock in a Star Trek remake
— The Pundit's Pundit (@PunditsPund1) April 28, 2022
Elon would make a GREAT Spock.
Ask him to buy the @StarTrek franchise, fire the top folks that have destroyed it. Bring in @SethMacFarlane to rebuild it. pic.twitter.com/P1JtVosYuP

Maybe another chance at space too?

Elon Musk gives me a good reason to stay on Twitter, actually.
I just hope he finalizes the deal so it's official.

Now THERE’S a blast from the past.

US NEWS (Another Twitchy article): Is this a real account? Blue-check ‘Catholic priest’ mocks Trump for canceling his Nebraska rally over a tornado warning, tells ‘MAGA peeps’ to attend anyway
He was the face of Priceline. How did that go?
ROTFL! Yes, he’s adorbs!
Be Kirk, not Sulu. I like that.
I just clicked #DumpTheBird on Twitchy. Opens a Twitter page, featuring tweets using that hashtag. Gorka’s for it:

yeah sulu sucks
Loving the guy's tweets, though. This might be more fun than one expected.
This post is mucking the format for this post. Hmmm, guess/hope I won’t do that again.
Okay, I’m posting another tweet. Format is already hosed.
But...Elon Musk replied to Shatner, according to this:

Can you post this tweet? https://twitter.com/amigoManila/status/1520213382653427712?s=20&t=fjIN6zLZEeA2hi8zlcRNsQ
Musk and Shatner are about the only 2 I really follow on Twitter along with James Woods.
Shatner is incredible at his age, always busy and always trolling and arguing with all the losers.
He did another; “I’m going to buy Coca Cola and put the cocaine back in it.”
The Bill Maher made a joke about it on his show. Something about Hunter getting his head stuck in the vending machine.
I can hear Johnny Carson putting the two jokes above together in his monologue and then adding that Elon tried to buy the Biden’s but China wouldn’t sell them.
I’ll second the Twitter Tribble!
LOL! Yes, I can see that, too. I loved Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I’m tickled that Maher made that joke, too.
I likdd Sulu. Takei I don’t like.
hahahahahahaha....
I started following James Woods, because every time I’d start typing @realDonald..., Twitter would bring up @realJamesWoods. So, I clicked & started following him.
The original Star Trek is still the best in my opinion. Shatner was like Dillon in Gunsmoke. You could always count on the good guy winning.
