“The characteristics of the optimal diet appear to be moderate to high carbohydrate intake from non-refined sources, low but sufficient protein from largely plant-based sources....”

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this from Biden’s Ministry of Truth? Talk about having an agenda!

Unfortunately, “science” has devolved into “Government Funded Bullshit”!

LOL. True since the days of Julius Caesar. As in oily Caesar dressing.

Yes. My mom died in January, 2007, and she would have been 103 in April. One of her cousins died a few yeas later and she was 109. They worked hard and ate what they wanted. Their ancestors and my dad’s lived to be in their 90’s. Amazing. Of course, not everyone lived that long. God bless.

You live longer, or it just seems longer? I vote for the latter.

So they studied two things - commie diet and fasting. How much of the benefit was due to fasting?

My guess? 100%

It took someone long enough to ask that question.

When you have your place in heaven, why would you want to hang out here longer than necessary.

Carnivore has been great for me. On it the last four years. Doc says my blood work is like a twenty year old. I tell him my diet and he says everything in moderation. Oh well.

My husband is the exact same way - keto for a year, carnivore for three. Excellent bloodwork and such.

If the left was right about aging, nearly all very old people would be vegetarians and former athletes that have exercised their entire lives. And yet.. they never seem to be either.

I’ve been known to fast for as much as 6 hours at a time.

Not exactly how i meant it.

In a free God-fearing country that hasnt gone mental, you can live a productive and relatively content life. You will have good and bad times but generally want to keep living as that is a God-given trait, and take steps to not at least, shorten your statistically expected life span.

But if life becomes a chore and prison because your country denies fredom and clamps down on everything, theres no point in anything that extends your life longer. Who wants to live additional years under that ever-worsening dystopia?

It theoretically could extend my lifespan 20 years if I were to become a eunuch, ... but that ain’t happenin’ neither.
