My parent’s/our first house had one of those razor disposal slots, in the med cabinet.
I wonder what all of those razors look like, today....rusted completely?

In 1970 I could get a hamburger and a Coke and get change back from a dollar.
Great.
I have one of THOSE stories. 🙄🙄🙄

French fries are known for lasting nearly forever in petrified states.

A little bit unrelated but back in the early 1990s when working as a summer student, I helped out a local building contractor who had a contract with one of the local school boards to do renovation work in the gyms and elsewhere. This fellow had in his office an old six pack of empty small bottles of Canada Dry Ginger Ale, complete with the paper package that the distinctive looking bottles came in.
Apparently, he was working at a school about a year or so earlier when he had to go into a storage room that wasn’t used terribly often and off in a corner was this six pack of empty bottles. He figured in a time no later than about 1969 or 1970, someone probably put the bottles there (when you could bring empty pop bottles for refunds) and forgot about them until they were finally discovered years later.

Because there is a constant war against McDonald’s. FR posters are some of the worst about it.
Amazing to me that so much nutritional density can be purchased for so little, yet people feel the need to virtue signal about how they would never eat it.

I seem to recall reading a story about how one of the cabins/supply depots that the early Antarctic explorers used was discovered in a more recent time and the foodstuffs were still there in their distinctive tins and packages and in perfectly edible and useable condition. Certainly and obviously owing to the conditions there, but still interesting to read about.

McDonald’s used to be “fast food”. Now it’s just “food”...sort of...eventually.

These are like the charcoal of foods. Pretty much last
forever. Draw your own conclusions.
