A traumatized man is being bitten to shreds in his own home by Britain’s most venomous spiders — but no one will help him.
Russell Davies is in so much agony from hundreds of bites all over his body he is sleeping in a tent outside his Southborough flat.
The false widow is said to have a bite as painful as a wasp’s sting and Russell’s body is covered in them. The 55-year-old tenant’s skin is so sore he has been forced to stop working as a chef.

Yes, they do. Farming pesticides have limitations. But even if they didn’t, I assume they still teach how to formulate research questions and how to get after it.
Diatomaceous earth. Easy.
Anything that prevents the chronic appearance of those big black bite wounds would be a plus.
There is no reason to be continually "eaten alive."
As many have said...l Bug bomb the place. However. seeing how even a box knife is illegal in the UK I wouldn’t be surprised if you aren’t allowed to buy a can of RAID.
Yeah but it’s free health care , doncha know?
There some twit here who obviously is a Brit and says how swell it is.

Yes!
I don’t believe that is real spiders that are biting him. I believe it is the spiders that the dope he is shooting up is causing him to see.
We’ve used Tempo SC for a long time. I keep several bottles on hand.
The Temprid that I have is Temprid FX.
Thanks for your info. My local dealer had to order the Temprid for me.
Sorry to hear about Bayer and ChiCom production. Yep, quality control there is not good.
The issue is effective residual and killing the ones you cannot see.
I can kill them with my hand, but you don’t always see them until they bite you.
The Black Widows don’t seem as aggressive as the fiddle backs are.
“or just run around hunting without much in the way of webs at all.”
Long single strand or few strands? Sounds like Brown Recluse Spider webs.
Ozone machine for a few hours would kill them all.
Used properly, will not kill her Honey Bee hives.
Had to explain that each colony was huge and big enough to contain a whole tree of leaves.

That’s interesting. I wasn’t aware of these machines for pest control. Thanks for the info.
That depends on the spider. A brown recluse can make a crater all the way to the bone.
I have bees at the farm, near our orchard. But they were not put there by me. They are the Africanized type, very aggressive and I have tried 3 times to get rid of them. They move for a while and then eventually come back.
I have a large pear tree that is infected with fire blight, Must remove it very soon. Bees spread the disease.
They attacked me 2 times and my wife once.
We are trying to finish the house remodel there so we can move there this summer. Big job.
In Washington State among the 950 or so types identified we have various forms of widows, Hobos, and Yellow Sacs. And I have seen lots of those over the years. In the house we see more “giant house spiders” than anything else. They get trapped in our bathtub frequently and were a favorite prize for our wiener dog, the great spider hunter. My latest bites were most likely from a Hobo because I found some webbing in my boot and they can bite when trapped.
I did know an old lady who was in a multi-level care facility where my wife worked, and I volunteered who was put there by a severe necrotic wound from what was identified as a Brown Recluse. According to our Department of Health we do not have Brown Recluse Spiders here. The one that bit the old lady was from a small group that was found at her home on a place called Anderson Island near Steilacoom, WA. I am not sure how they got there. She was a frequent traveler and one may have laid some eggs on or in something that she brought back with her.
The vast majority of spiders here are harmless and very few are aggressive, but some are just so darned ugly that it is a natural reaction to swat them especially if they are crawling on you for some reason. Outside our house we have hundreds of little black and red jumping spiders running through the grass. I don't think they bite. We also end up with spider webs across the stairs to our porch often, from persistent spiders that seem to come back even after being relocated. Is there anything creepier than pulling spider webs off your face when you are on your way out?
Fortunately, my wife is a very skilled spider swatter; if she sees one crawling on me she springs into action. She is usually able to just swipe them off with a ninja style “hi-yah” without making a mess.
We had to take out a small pear tree last year after it became infected. I spent $60 on it, the first year it was fine then it became blighted the second year.
The saddest little trees here that I have tried to grow are nectarines and apricots which get awful diseases which look just terrible. I love the fruit, and it is more tasty than store bought varieties, but we just do not have the right climate for them.
We have a problem with aggressive yellow jackets here but not the honey bees fortunately. We used to have a lot of mud wasps which were not aggressive, but make a mess.
I am just finishing refurbishing a house that I have worked on for years and am now hoping to sell soon. This crazy interest rate spike has got me spooked.
(Sam Kennison voice) Buy a bug bomb!
