I have bees at the farm, near our orchard. But they were not put there by me. They are the Africanized type, very aggressive and I have tried 3 times to get rid of them. They move for a while and then eventually come back.

I have a large pear tree that is infected with fire blight, Must remove it very soon. Bees spread the disease.

They attacked me 2 times and my wife once.

We are trying to finish the house remodel there so we can move there this summer. Big job.

We had to take out a small pear tree last year after it became infected. I spent $60 on it, the first year it was fine then it became blighted the second year.

The saddest little trees here that I have tried to grow are nectarines and apricots which get awful diseases which look just terrible. I love the fruit, and it is more tasty than store bought varieties, but we just do not have the right climate for them.

We have a problem with aggressive yellow jackets here but not the honey bees fortunately. We used to have a lot of mud wasps which were not aggressive, but make a mess.

I am just finishing refurbishing a house that I have worked on for years and am now hoping to sell soon. This crazy interest rate spike has got me spooked.
