concerned mom of three has turned to social media for support after discovering her teenage daughter has been falsely claiming to friends that her parents are abusive.
Child abuse is not something to be taken lightly, with the CDC estimating that at least 1 in every 7 children in the U.S. has experienced abuse or neglect in the last 12 months. Worse still, that figure is thought to be underestimated given the number of cases that likely go unreported.

According to the post shared by the girl's mom, the 15-year-old has been telling friends her parents are "horrible" and that her mother often withholds food from her, confines her to her room and is "homophobic."

Terrible situation. Social media culture has turned so many kids into crisis actors because it was a great way to get attention. But the bar has been set so low in terms of the crises these kids have to relate that these horrible stories are only going to get worse, I’m afraid.

When the CDC was asked about estimates for the higher number of children abused, CDC spokesman Dr. Fow Chi replied, "The CDC currently estimates that up to 68 children out of every 7 children are abused regularly. We are working on a vaccination for child abuse now and expect to roll it out after we complete our testing on adults. Later, when a child version is developed we can vaccinate them as well. We estimate that we will need only about two weeks to bend the curve of child abuse down once we start the mandated vaccines."
Rotten kids have terrific power to do harm, this is just the latest.
my (foster) daughter did exactly the same thing to us, at our church, no less. And the majority of leadership at the church did nothing (except plot how they could hold us accountable). The pastor though, told them all to stand down as our daughter admitted to him a year earlier that she lies about everything.
Well the fact the mom and dad said nothing when the daughter started dating a girl says it all right there. Liberal household so parents and kids are mental cases.

Best thing to do is give her money and drop her off at an attorney who specializes in emancipation of minors. then cut the little ingrate loose.

My wife adopted a brother and sister from foster care with her Ex. He kept telling the girl to turn us into CPS so she could come live with daddy.
She did that 3 times with each one being fully investigated and us cleared, but on the 3rd time I granted him his wish.
We haven’t had to deal with crazy kid in 6 years and we’re better off for it.
full blown dysfunction. people think if you pull a kid out of neglect/abuse and give them a good life they’ll appreciate it. Not necessarily so. In fact I believe it’s more times than not that these kids want to go back to the chaos and craziness they came from.
I blame the schools.
Every time I grounded my daughters they would call CPS on me.
I got 17 reports marked ‘unfounded’ but I got so sick of it I stopped talking to them
But the children learned that all they had to do was tell the school and they would make daddy do whatever they wanted.
