Very sad to hear. There is an incredible level of pressure on high achievers, much of it self inflicted.

At least one pediatrician’s office in Virginia, before signing off on youth sports participation for children who have subjected themselves to COVID vexxationation, are requiring baseline testing of cardiac and cardiopulmonary function. Probably a smart policy.

My Mother graduated from there just a few years before it was renamed James Maddison University.
She drove from Waynesboro to Harrisonburg for several years making me and my siblings latch-key kids. She got her degree the same year I graduated from Waynesboro High School.
