Alec Baldwin’s gruff attitude during his first interaction with police after he shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust” can be seen in body cam footage released by cops.
The video, released by the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office Monday afternoon along with a slew of other investigative files, shows cops responding to the shooting and their initial interview with the actor.
“My understanding is, you were in the room when the lady,” a responding deputy with the sheriff’s office says to Baldwin in the clip before trailing off.
“I was the one holding the gun, yea,” Baldwin replies in a gruff tone. “What do you need?”
The deputy told Baldwin, 64, to sit tight and not speak to anyone else as they worked to secure the scene and take statements from the witnesses.
A few minutes later, the actor is shown sitting with a few crew members and asking one of them for a cigarette.
“What do you got?” Baldwin asks a crew member, who replies that he has “Marlboro Medium.”
“I’ll take it,” Baldwin says.
“My hands are shaking… I’ll take anything.”

Seriously? Obviously you have never been a smoker. As a former smoker I can tell you that in times of stress it’s the first thing you reach for. There is plenty to dislike Baldwin for, don’t make it ridiculous.

That’s ridiculous. People fall to habits when upset.
Baldwin is an a-hole, but I don’t think he’s a psychopath.
Many people would pour a drink, not because they’re partying.
Something tells me that little millennial armorer is gonna take the fall for this whole shitty mess and baldwin is gonna walk away from it.
Having grown up in a house of smokers, and never having smoked myself, I do find it rather callous that the first thing that comes into a smoker's head after killing someone, would be engaging in instant gratification by lighting up.
And this crazed liberal POS is still walking free?
Doesn’t seem upset in this video, is heard plotting, blaming other people. Then the other video has him and the sheriff laughing about not being charged. The fix is in.

safety wise, obviously yes. There’s a union rep and safety officer on set for this reason which originally came out after the Vic Morrow incident. Clearly this asshole Arec Barwin didnt have a union rep because as producer, he is supposed to have one.
another important no-no? Catering. No catering/paid food, the entire crew and cast will rebel and throw a nuclear tantrum.

He as shown privilege from the start. The cop admitted knowing who he was and that he was THE MAIN SUSPECT in a shooting. If not cuffed and stuffed at least isolated.

Caterers are hired - they bring all the food and cooking supplies. You can eat remarkably well on movie sets. Filet mignon for breakfast every day if you want
