What a savage society we have become. Words escape me.
How about a new law that makes it illegal to fire a weapon within one mile of a basketball game? That should do the trick. 😕
Oh, and baseball games. DOH!
“teenagers”...speaks volumes...
The “youths” are always up to no good.
😀😊
Maybe it’s because I’m an old fart, but an 8 year old kids shouldn’t be playing baseball at 8:45 on a school night...
Just my thoughts...
Where does it say there were “teenagers”?
Is it wise or unwise to assume something with respect to demographics of said game and shooter(s)?
We have “no go” zones here on USA. Just avoid them. You’re fine.
The video I saw was that of very young white kids playing ball. The shooting was in the background, not at the game itself.
I'm fairly certain I can guess the demographics of the shooters with a 99.9% chance of being correct.
Seeing how most parents have to come home from work, change their clothes, eat dinner, and then get their kids to the game, 8:45 pm is a perfectly reasonable time to be playing baseball.
As it was more than 40 years ago when I was playing little league sports.
we all know who the perp(s) are.

Different article, same incident...
NC. city. Night. Groups fighting.
Let me guess demographic?
No mention of any arrests.
Probably won’t be.
Sigh. My son Has been somewhat swept up in the official activities, but I have always been reticent about organized activities. Don’t get me going.
I felt vindicated when I was pregnant, as on vacation then I happened to get a USA Today in our hotel which had an expansive article about this obsession with official organized sports (and other activities). Basically emphasized free play. I’d like to mention the fact I want them to have homework time, free time, and family time, too. This seems to come from the perpetual babysitting approach to parenting. 5 decades of it has not improved our country.
Like I said, maybe it’s because I’m an old fart...I played Little League baseball 61 years ago...We played on weekends...
My mother & I used to go to the Spoleto festival in Charleston. We went about 4 times & haven’t been for about 6 years. Let me tell you....they had that city locked down & you felt completely safe even walking in the evenings. Such a beautiful city.
