I don’t know those laws would apply in this instance, as the person she visited was a FORMER president of Pakistan, who is now just a private citizen. However, if he IS part of the Pakistani government, she could very well have broken the law if they discussed anything the related to US government policy.
No matter who she meets...if she’s discussing policy...something is not right.
