The University of Wisconsin campus is mourning the death of a beloved track and cross country star.
Sarah Shulze, 21, died by suicide on April 13, her family announced.
“Balancing athletics, academics and the demands of every day life overwhelmed her in a single, desperate moment,” Shulze’s family said. “Like you, we are shocked and grief stricken while holding on tightly to all that Sarah was.”
The California-born runner was a junior and member of the cross country, indoor track and outdoor track teams at the University of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin officials released a statement Friday regarding the beloved student, who was described as a gentle soul and decorated student-athlete.
She earned academic all-Big Ten honors in 2020 and 2021 for cross country and in 2021 while running at Wisconsin.

Chronically depressed people lack sufficient Vitamin D. In southern Florida they just need to be out of doors for an hour a day. In New York, that might be good for the high summer but the rest of the time supplements would be in order. It works and it works quickly. insufficient sunshine-vitamin D- is the cause of “winter blues.” Take D through the winter and the blues go away.
You do know your home and almost everything about it including value, taxes, and even floor plans may be public depending on how “diligent” your local authorities are in recording. And your interactions,if any, with police.
The fact that housing info is in the public domain is a sin. So is Google for that matter.
Smaller towns are staying off line and residents love it
