The University of Wisconsin campus is mourning the death of a beloved track and cross country star.
Sarah Shulze, 21, died by suicide on April 13, her family announced.
“Balancing athletics, academics and the demands of every day life overwhelmed her in a single, desperate moment,” Shulze’s family said. “Like you, we are shocked and grief stricken while holding on tightly to all that Sarah was.”
The California-born runner was a junior and member of the cross country, indoor track and outdoor track teams at the University of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin officials released a statement Friday regarding the beloved student, who was described as a gentle soul and decorated student-athlete.
She earned academic all-Big Ten honors in 2020 and 2021 for cross country and in 2021 while running at Wisconsin.

I’ve read through the comments, some think it was the vaccine, or a combination of depression, maybe to much pressure ect. I’m not judging other posters comments.
My daughter is 25, if I lost her for any reason the pain would be unbearable, Mrs Saturn and I would be completely devastated. Can we please just think of her family and there terrible loss at this time. May God almighty bless her , and the family in this time of grief. Rest in Peace young lady.

You’re challenging the truthfulness of the family in writing how she died.
You trotted out some hard spun theory “BTW, if she had an adverse reaction to a vaxx and was told she’d never be able to compete again and then committed suicide, is Deep State off the hook...?”
If you want to do jackassin’ regarding this person’s death based on some theory that’s on you.
It always comes down to the vaccine - even if the family tells how she died.
Good grief.
Until we see an ME’s report, we don’t know.
I’ve been looking for more info and there is none on where the death occurred.
If it occurred in WI, state law says there should have been an autopsy performed and, depending on the county, that report should be available to the public.
I’ve seen reports of what she did after graduating, but none from a enemediot outlet.
Given what she may have been doing for a living, if that info is accurate, she would have been vaxxed.
There are many unanswered questions just to the basic facts.
All of which make it very unwise to assume.
Why do you need to see the autopsy? What business is it if yours?

Public information is public, period.
You do know your home and almost everything about it including value, taxes, and even floor plans may be public depending on how “diligent” your local authorities are in recording. And your interactions,if any, with police.

Thanks for the post. For us too, it was about creating a love for the sport not winning. Both our kids were swimmer/water polo players. To this day they love the water.

I’m betting the not able to balance every day life was a bit more complicated than merely running and classes. Most college students these days take 9 hours, the bare minimum to claim the required full course load to be in athletics or whatever. Something else was going on with her. Perhaps a boyfriend, drugs the parents weren’t aware of, mental, wrong crowd, etc.
When Rome got sacked, they blamed it on the Christians.
