Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led to a dramatic shift in American public opinion: 70% of Americans now consider Russia an enemy of the United States, up from 41% in January. And on this topic, Democrats and Republicans largely agree, with 72% of Democrats and 69% of Republicans describing Russia as an enemy.
A new Pew Research Center survey, conducted March 21-27, finds that just 7% of U.S. adults have an overall favorable opinion of Russia. Only 6% express confidence in its leader, President Vladimir Putin. In contrast, 72% have confidence in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Or many of us understood that communists have always been and will always be the enemy of a free people
“Russia does not encourage abortion.”
Denying reality does nothing to change the undeniable fact that Russia is indeed encouraging women to abort their children.
Cold war nostalgia, for when we were the “good guys.”
What did Russia do to the United States?
They went to War with a non Ally?
“Just sit back and watch Russia and Ukraine kill each other...”
The problem is it’s starting to look like things won’t end there just between Russia vs Ukraine, it’s NATO getting dragged into this and risking WW3 that is the problem. Only these insane neocon globalists think it’s all worth the risks.
Are you that bereft of history
In most instances 7 in 10 are wrong... just saying.
Putin would never have revealed this if Trump were still in the Presidency.
Obviously what emboldened Putin was an utter incompetent in the Presidency and the evil, corrupt cabal that put him there and controls his puppet-strings and the useful idiots who support this cabal.
This cabal is as monstrous as Putin. The world would quickly realize this if they revealed themselves.
Nice try Putin freak. Tortured your puppy quota yet? lol
Just another poll.....nobody asked me!
China is a much more capable enemy. Every bit as barbaric.
The is big money in fanning the flames of Russian hate (the defense industry will be booming in the near future) and even bigger money if, somehow, if Russia collapsed after a regime change just as there has been in Ukraine for the usual suspects, including the Big Guy.
Making Russian into our enemy and starting a second Cold War, however, is not in the nation's best interest. A Russia/China alliance in a world war would be formidable. The West is going to be battered in a sanction war with Russia. We're risking losing the dollar as the world's reserve currency, which would be devastate our ability to manipulate our debt.
Russia and the US were allies during WWII.
Russia, Russia, Russia...On and on it goes...
I don’t even think of Zelensky in any form other than his country has been invaded by savages.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
We’ll Putin is a monster. Russia isn’t a friend certainly.
I also mostly think they are an enemy in the sense that we’ve never buried the hatchet from the cold war. We’ve got a globalist mindset about things which have prevented US foreign policy from thinking and operating collaboratively.
But this is no better than every other nation also. So I don’t see us or Russia being friends when our politics has become locked into its current gear.
We’re in rigid thinking because we’ve got corrupt individuals who profit off that rigidity. The same is Russia, its rigid and locked into a certain policy because its corrupt political climate.
Then you’re clueless about recent history there.
