What is your favorite song that actually tells a story?

I’m listening to songs with my FIL that he recorded over the years. One funny one is “The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane”. I didn’t quite get that song until I read the lyrics - it’s funny!

That one has a Celtic sound to it, like something from Ireland or the Canadian Maritimes - not quite Bluegrass, but related. Lots of "story songs" come from that variety of "roots music", which explains why Mark Knopfler's song catalog has a lot of mentions upthread.
