A lot of FL schools look like prisons. They put wrought iron fence around my kids’ elementary school which was in a fairly rural, low crime area. All the gates except for the one for the front entrance were locked all day.
Florida schools double as shelters when there are hurricanes. But they don’t HAVE to look so awful imo.
