We have no obligation to get involved in this fracas between Cyrillic speaking cousins.
Oh, can I mention that I had a TS/SCI clearance too?
We have no obligation to get involved
***We have a gigantic MORAL obligation, written right into the treaty we signed: in order to get nuclear nonproliferation right. Otherwise every tinhorn dictator in Africa will acquire nukes. It was the right thing to take those nukes off their hands, so it’s the right thing to honor that agreement. Don’t you CARE about nuclear nonproliferation?
in this fracas between Cyrillic speaking cousins.
***We signed the agreement. We are obligated to “respect” borders and sovereignty as they were in 1994. You don’t mind being a country that no one else can trust, a country of betrayal. You’re the one who’s a hooot here.
Oh, can I mention that I had a TS/SCI clearance too?
***Then you would know how important nuclear nonproliferation is. That’s how I know that this kind of assertion of yours is pure bullshiite.
Cyrillic is the alphabet letters and not the spoken language so it is not kosher to call them “Cyrillic speakers”. My wife is a Ukranian Russian speaker and her accent when speaking English is “thick enough to cut with a knife” (as Jack Benny described his Dad’s Yiddish accent).
