Maybe the public skools should be teaching ethical behavior ilo gender bending?
Back in my days of working loss prevention at a retail store it was not unusual to inform a parent that a small child was pocketing items. Many times they would ask us to “give the kid a talking to.” These days they would more likely sue the store.
Being put in a cop car is NOTHING compared to what my dad would have done once I got home.
Actions have consequences, regardless of age.

After watching that video I’m convinced that this kid will end up hurting someone and probably multiple people. Probably end up a murderer.
That’s a rough neighborhood.
The kid was probably well experienced at acting like a hysterical victim.
It’s astounding how fast and how young a child can learn to turn on the water works when it suits them to manipulate adults. I saw it with my kids at ages far younger than 8.
I believe this is called gaslighting.

If they would move to California they could steal 1000 dollars worth of chips and it would be okay.
People don’t obey laws when those laws are optional for some people.
That didn’t happen here. The cops were right, but they will probably be thrown off the force.
Good maybe they will quit stealing before they graduate to car jacking. The father should tan their hides.
Just teach the kid to recite “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe” and the cops will back off.
