The best scene is when he goes to the homeless shelter and Joyce Van Patten thinks he is working undercover as a bum.

Regardless of TV show, I recall that shows had the latest model supplied by such and such manufacturer. All the cars on the show were of the same make. My Three Sons was a Pontiac show, for example.

Same thing on Hawaii Five-O. All cars were supplied by Ford like McGarrett’s Mercury Park Lane Brougham hard top for six seasons, and a 1974 Mercury Marquis Brougham for the last six.

Route 66 and Batman. Route 66 also had one of the best themes that felt like the open road.
Does The Jetsons count? :)

“Without a doubt the Rockford Files.
They took every car in America and put them in a chase.”
I have been streaming reruns of The Rockford Files lately and I had kind of forgotten about that aspect of the show. That Firebird is up against some pretty powerful iron romping through the streets of rural and urban California, Nevada and othe regional area.

“The Persuaders” starred Tony Curtis and Roger Moore. They drove an Aston Martin DBS V-8 and a Dino 246 GT.
