We made a promise to Ukraine, if they gave up their nukes we would be there to protect them. They are not asking for our boots on the ground, they are asking for the tools to fight Putin with. If we had not convinced them to give up their nukes they wouldn’t be in this trouble today.
Tough shit. agreements and treaties reflect the interests of nations at the moment of signing. After that they are only useful as a stale dated check. The US and most other nations have never cared about discarding ‘solemn agreements’ , and in passing executive agreements really are the toilet tissue of international relations. True. Both the US and Russia agreed in 1994 to defend Ukraine if they gave up their nukes in 1994. We told a lie which was a 5 on a 1 to 10 scale when we only supplied them with weaponry and Russia told a bigger lie which was an 11 on a 1 to 10 scale when they hit them weaponry.
Any promise from the United States about sovereignty is meaningless. Who would believe it? It's coming from a country that has Democrats actively violating the law to aid and abet illegal alien invaders.
The treaty from 1994 was under Bill Clinton who was guilty of felony perjury. Anything he says or signs is worthless.
That promise is also coming from a country with someone unlawfully sitting as vice president. Kamala Harris is not a natural born citizen because neither of her parents were U.S. citizens when she was born. Any agreement with a country where the oaths of the president and vice-president are invalid is null and void.
