BOR is a dick, but his point is well taken. Airlines offer little or no information when there are delays etc.
And that peon employee can do what about that exactly? The problem is not BOR being angry, it’s BOR taking it out on someone that is powerless to do anything about it. BOR is a scumbag.

I recall in the late ‘70s, on a flight from Honolulu to Anchorage, we lost an engine; it just stopped close to the half-way point. A DC-10, I think. Bang! Shudder! Quick but slow descent and obvious course change. The movie, “Pete’s Dragon”, was on the screen.
Everyone was asking the stewardesses what happened? Their response: “I didn’t hear anything.” They shined us on for about 15 minutes before the captain came on the loudspeaker and said we were headed back to Hawaii.
I never understand these wealthy people who insist on living in urban dumps like NYC with Third World infrastructure and living conditions … and then have the audacity to complain when the place function like — well, a Third World dump.
I travelled a lot in business and hated when that happened. At the one hour delay point you could go grab a hotel room and relax, get a good night’s sleep. But no, they keep stringing you along, hour by hour. It is absolutely infuriating.
