It is all very entertaining. I can’t help feeling, however, that what we are watching is just the 500 year delta version of the Wars of the Roses. It seems to me it’s the 21st century nobility fighting over who gets to shear and butcher the herd for their own enrichment.
I am watching from a safe distance and trying to figure out how to mitigate the damage to my own situation. Wish I had more time to keep up here.
Did you read Devolution 20 yet? It’s fantastic and an upper and as usual packed with source info. If you haven’t, link was posted a couple times including yesterday and if you can’t find I’ll post it again.
I have been singly going about my life as an American citizen.
Go to work, come home, go out shopping.
No worries.
Stopped by a cop the other day, answered questions and got a warning.
Thought nothing of it (even with my big mylar R/W/B “Q” in the back window).
I have decided to just walk away from anyone who tries to get my dander up.
I just don’t “militate” my “confident patriotism” out in the wild.
No time to release that kind of energy.
Personally, that is my suggestion for you.
Don’t worry about the future, there is a plan.
YMMV

Interesting analogy with War of the Roses.
The difference is that if we can remember (and you do) that we are not serfs and our politicians are not Royalty, then perhaps we can come out of it all somewhat whole.
