Speaking of Rooney: In a former life I did a car & truck auction in north Jersey on Tuesdays. One Tuesday evening I had headed south on the Jersey Turnpike to spend the night and do another one in south Jersey on Wednesday. I came up behind a Chevy Caprice with a “ROONEY” vanity plate, doing the exact speed limit, which was odd, on the turnpike. I swung out to pass, and as I cruised past it, there sat ol’ Andy, as cool and unconcerned as you might expect.
