I like the way you solve all the individual, simple to complex problems, in windows:
“My computer listens when muted”
“switch to Linux”
“I got the blue screen of death”
“switch to Linux”
“My app is running slow”
“switch to Linux”
“I have a funny smell coming from my keyboard”
“switch to Linux”
“My butt itches”
“switch to Linux”
It is great that all I have to do to help gramma with her computer problems can be summed up that way, and then she can do all kinds of neat things like:
mkdir -p movies/2004/
cp -r dir_to_copy/ new_copy_dir/
rm file_to_copy.txt
chmod +x script
sudo apt install gimp
This is not an OS issue.
or grandma can just click on software manager, and look for gimp and click a button and install it
You need to reinstall and reboot grandma with Linux loaded (One of the easy versions) and viola... problem solved.

(I have actually switched my in laws to Linux an they did not even notice. I could have gotten them a Mac, and same deal, but why?)
Sometimes I think I should install Linux on actual people because there OS is MSM/Faulty/Corrupt as they do to verify hashes before installing new thoughts.
Linux has perfectly good UIs that anybody can use. What is your solution when things go south on a Windoze box?
Lol, Know what I have found since using Linux the last 6 years? Somehow it has “intuition”... Every time I think “well I need to look into why this is doing this” it tends to fix it’s self next boot... And nothing kills it’s self...
GREAT... :)
