Look at advertising commercials as just one xample- Black men / white women. It’s never white men / black women and rarely, black male / black female.

Nonsense. White men/Black women couples are overrepresented in commercials as compared to the general population or the population of interracial couples. Black men/White women couples tend to be rarer in commercials because there are people, Black and White, who have trouble with that.

Well, I disagree with you there. Where I live, it is VERY common to see a White woman paired with a Black man in commercials. And they do their best to make it obvious they are a thing (not just friends). Ditto for billboards and web advertising.

IMHO, seems to be a concerted media campaign to pressure White women to date Black men.
