Black men/White women couples tend to be rarer in commercials because there are people, Black and White, who have trouble with that.

Well, I disagree with you there. Where I live, it is VERY common to see a White woman paired with a Black man in commercials. And they do their best to make it obvious they are a thing (not just friends). Ditto for billboards and web advertising.

IMHO, seems to be a concerted media campaign to pressure White women to date Black men.

They don’t do that much around here. Or at least they weren’t doing it last year when I was still watching TV.
