The biggest lesson learned is that America will probably also need its own brand of "de-nazification" of DC deep-state, woke, neocon, elites who will sacrifice you and everyone else for their insane political schemes.

The lesson we learned from Afghanistan and Iraq is not try to make the natives less native. Knock them down, and leave.

That wasn’t the army. That was the politicians. Took them 20 years to figure out what was obvious after 5 (not gonna settle Afghanistan) and then they organized the pullout very poorly. The country was going to fall 5 minutes after we left no matter what. It never built as a country with a real government. Everything else was just a formality.
