Since everyone who goes on a cruise these days is expected to be vaccinated, boosted and in the very near future tested... this demonstrates just how worthless the “vaccines” have now become. They never were the answer.

No vaccines are 100% effective.
They started requiring testing of everyone back in August

Wrong. We're expected to be tested BEFORE getting on the ship now, and if you're traveling internationally, you're also expected to test getting off the ship and prior to getting onto an airplane to go home.
Also, have to buy two special, tamper proof kits ahead of time and put yourself on video taking the test within 24 hours of boarding the ship, and test negative.
I cannot tell you how much of a pain in the ass it is to finally being able to take the cruise to Alaska and then onto Denali -- I'd booked in 2019 for 2020. Here I am, two years later than anticipated and STILL having to go through all this!
FWIW, "fully vaccinated" according to NCL -- for me -- means I had one J&J shot. No "boosters" or any of that crap required.
I had the CHINA VIRUS in 2020. Tested positive for the antibodies in 2021 and had the antibodies until December of 2022 when they finally started waning (actually, nosedived to nothing.)
Caught Omicron in late February and got over that.
According to NCL's "rules" if I were to board the ship within 90 days of "getting over" Omicron I wouldn't have to do a thing other than present the positive test that I had Omicron followed by the negative test saying I was over it.
Guess what? My board date is 94 days after testing negative for Omicron. So I have to test to board.
After not being able to get my money back for a cruise I'd booked for TWO YEARS AGO I really just want to get the cruise part over with and then onto Denali for a week and roughing it.
Here's the best part: Since I have to fly to Vancouver to get on the boat, I'm now also required to test negative before being allowed to get on the plane -- in Anchorage, Alaska to fly home -- directly to ORD. No stop over in Vancouver, it's a direct 8.5 hour flight back.
Why the eff do I have to test to get on a plane -- in the United States of America -- to fly to -- the United States of America? Oh, Because I traversed an airport in Vancouver to get on a boat headed to -- America.
Talk about screwed up. The Cruise I can live without. GF wants to do that. Denali is what I want to get to. It's a bucket list item for me.
