When Philadelphia’s health commissioner announced this week that the city’s indoor mask mandate would be reinstated as Covid-19 cases there rise, something unusual happened: Not a single other major U.S. city followed suit.
Throughout the pandemic, local, state and federal precautions have followed a predictable pattern. As key Covid indicators, such as infections, hospitalizations and deaths, have gone up, so has the number of officials who have required masks, proof of vaccination or other measures to slow the rate of transmission of the coronavirus.

Its a cold. If you take the stats of a common cold and COVID you will find the same number of hospitalizations. The same number of deaths. The flu and the common cold have been killing millions every year since records were kept. Life happens.
The meme you posted is right on. The Covid response was completely about politics and did nothing to protect the public. The Democrats have finally realized that they are now damaging their own brand by pushing this nonsense.
Covid is now endemic... it is now just part of the human experience. The problem is that along the way the “vaccines” that were forced on many have done great damage to a lot of people’s immune systems.

I’m retired, but still work about 16 hrs a week. I enjoy my small business. Not a whole lot of money, but it gets me out of my wife’s hair for a while.
Unfortunately I was considered an, “essential employee” and had to wear a mask (and other restrictions).
Even though I’m healthy for my age, and practice good hygiene, I got the Rona.
High fever, headache, body pains, sore throat, cough, loss of taste and smell, fatigue. The First lady got it after me.
I was completely over it in five days. First lady took seven.
Lockdowns and masks unequivocally don’t work (see Ft. Detrick, MD).
The federal government is a charlie foxtrot and is totally OOC.

Just tested positive yesterday. Grandniece was sent home on Mondaytook her to Urgent Care and tested her for strep quick was positive. Never tested for civid. Long story short, 3 of us now have covid. As of right now only sore throats and lots of nose blowing. Doc said ride it out.
I think that’s what they’re looking at now...If we mandate “stuff”, will they obey?
The precautions will not come back because as science-illiterate and illogical as the leftist cabal is, they know that should they try Nazi tactics again, this time we will 1) tell them to shove up their collective Obamaholes, and 2) do it to them ourselves if they still insist on idiocy.
