The implication that a ‘Doctor’ who specializes in an area has not had to demonstrate proficiency in Microbiology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, Metabolism, or multiple other areas is naive.

If Dr. Ardis is actually a Medical Doctor then he has had to contend with many subjects along the path to attaining his Credentials. The notion that a Cardiologist is more of a Physician than a Pulmonologist, or any other ‘ist’ indicates some misunderstanding of how the system works.
