Utilities: $1,000

That seems high even for CA.

Even if a bit embellished that day is absolute madness.

This can’t be real. No one can be that foolish.

Or can they?

For those of you who have never lived in CA, this looks very normal.
You live and work to pay your bills.

They probably live someplace in the 949 area code if their HOA fees are $285 per month.

One thing I noticed is how many items are being delivered to their home (for a fee).

They need to use a personal finance software like Quicken.

Running a 10K credit card debt is not smart.

14,357.50in expenses. 15,700.00 in income. 1342.50 left at the end of the month.

These two clowns will be sorry someday unless that kid they’re educating pays off big time.

Crazy that you could have income that high and NO savings and NO 401K...at 44! Also crazy how easy it is to fritter away money on food delivery and Amazon miscellaneous. Prime makes it EXTRA easy.

the best part is all those streaming services on top of a cable bill. I pay for a few streaming services, but cut the cord long ago.

This Babylon Bee?

I see so many places they could be saving money and having a huge retirement amount. It looks to me they will be broke soon after they retire just on the the bagel spending alone.
Blowing the $500,000 is just insane. That money alone invested could have guaranteed a very nice retirement.

I 90% don’t believe that woman’s story. If true, she’s a dumbass. Literally EVERYTHING she does is wrong. No savings?

Buy a bag of bagels, and some cream cheese every week and out them in a gizmo called a refrigerator. It won’t cost $100.

Let the kid live in a dorm, eat in the cafeteria, and pay for her own education.

$25 for tuna sandwiches?

No savings. Car payments. Mortgage. Credit card balances. I couldn’t live like that; a massive bleeding ulcer would’ve taken me out after a short time.
