Vanguard group, an asset management company, becomes largest shareholder of Twitter, according to latest SEC data.
Musk's bid gets rejected by Saudi Arabia's Kingdom Holding Company (KHC). They own a 5.2 per cent stake.
Musk responds to Saudi Arabia's KHC by asking how much Saudi Arabia owns directly and indirectly, plus enquires about their views on freedom.

That was in a different era and that is not social media.
AOL, Prodigy, and Compuserve employed walled garden business models. The world wide web was outside of their walled gardens and as the web grew their walled garden model no longer worked.
Netscape owned the browser market until Microsoft bundled their rival browser with Windows. Netscape went on to create the Mozilla foundation which still exists and produces the Firefox browser.
Don’t you dare call me a Dem troll again! My Moderator button was under my cursor.
I was mentioned Vanguard because of what Mark Levin revealed on his radio show. As for the Saudis, it looks like they are also playing political games with Twitter.
I saw a Musk interview on Fox. It was asked if he had a backup plan B. He said that he did but he wouldn’t reveal it. He never fails. I am routing for Musk and you can call me all the names in the book for my support of him.
we do what they did to GameStop a while back. Everyone buy a share or two and then give it to Musk.”
Howie Carr says $300 each will do it.
Kingdom Holding Company?
Is this some oil-rich raghead muslim operation?
Interesting.
“Twitter has 500 million tweets a day - that’s a lot and it takes server farms around the world to handle the volume.”
Nice try, Dave. More than 60% of tweets are bots screaming at other bots. Did Twit pay you to post that garbage?
My experience with Twitter is that it is populated with legions of libs - many smart people, though and if the information is not suppressed, perhaps there is some hope these liberals may actually have their eyes open.
As far as bots are concerned. I think I may have come across them. When you look at their profile, they may have been around for 5 years and follow 2 people and have no followers...it just looks kind of odd - but not certain if they are bots.
Twitter does run well and fast.
True point. FR (here) is friendly to conservative values, conversations, and ideas vs what the leftist commie democrats have become. I wouldn’t want to hear them anymore than I like hearing from the establishment squishes in the republican party. The two are far too much alike even though they would deny it until they day they meet their maker.
DU is the leftist forum or literally the other side of the FR coin.
I disagree. Gab is what a true free speech (from everyone) platform looks like. One thing to quickly learn on Gab is to use the ignore feature. It doesn't take long to filter out those radical anti-semites. I don't know if they are home grown or Muslim and it doesn't matter because most people don't want to hear it so they end up in an echo chamber amongst themselves.
Having said all that; I don't spend much, if any, time there either. My interests lie elsewhere for now.
Nonsense!
There are plenty of far left Dem trolls on FR that have been here for up to 20 years and regularly start posts from far left CNN, Business Insider etc etc and have still not been banned. We regularly call them out for their left wing trolling.
Joke post?
You think you are Stalin or Zuckerberg?
Of course it's OK to criticize Jews. It's fine to criticize people from any race when they spew out garbage like you are doing.
Race has nothing to do with it.
What on earth are you babbling on about?
I've been on Gab for over 4 years. Haven’t seen any such pictures or Nazi propaganda. You sound like some deranged left wing troll.
Gab is an excellent free speech social media site and great for conservatives.
MySpace never had adult leadership, the place was run by teenage girls and potheads. Facebook sucks to but for different reasons.
Who would those lefties be?
It’s easy enough to find threads from CNN and other left wing sites and who started them.
Just use the search button at the top of the page. Shouldn’t be too hard.

***Uhh, that’s a rather different thing than what you said: “There are plenty of far left Dem trolls on FR that have been here for up to 20 years and regularly start posts from far left CNN, Business Insider etc etc and have still not been banned. We regularly call them out for their left wing trolling.” Just show us where you regularly call them out for their left wing trolling. Just because someone posts from CNN doesn’t mean they’re a troll.
Disregard anything I post after 2100 on Friday night. I’m changing my fuel supply from regular Italian red Rosé to high octane Johnny Walker.
Again you can use the “search” button on my posts and find out yourself.
Not that hard to find if you really want to.
Just because someone posts from CNN doesn't mean they're a troll.
If someone regularly stars threads from far left CNN, MSNBC, Atlantic, and other notorious far left sites, pushing a far left agenda, of course they are left wing trolls.
