It was supposed to be a fun family train ride up the California coast, a spring break getaway for Robbie Pierce, his husband, and their two young children. They'd been enjoying watching the coastline speed by through their window until, Pierce said, the family was accosted by a man who accused the couple of stealing their children and called them "pedophiles."
"All of a sudden there was a man there, just standing there and shouting," Pierce told BuzzFeed News in an interview. "'Remember what I told you! They stole you! They're pedophiles!' At that point I was like, this is something really awful and homophobic."

This has “HOAX” written all over it.
You can always tell when one of these outrageous-sounding stories are fake by how formulaic they are, and by the lack of willing witnesses. And aren’t there cameras on these trains? Let’s see those videos.

So, they’re carrying two turds around in blankets and calling them children?
That likely compel a heckle or two.
I doubt the kids could be more traumatized than having to live with two male adults having sex just one wall away, if that.

Even less believable than the Smollett story, hopefully with the same result. 0/10 for effort.
Here are the weak points of the story.
- This apparently happened in the midst of a lot of witnesses, but the “perp” wasn’t arrested.
- The f@ gs said that the “perp” was in the restroom with one of the little boys who went by himself. Amtrak restrooms are single occupancy, so how would that be possible?
- Video evidence would have been immediately sought, but wasn’t.
Call the Whambulance.
Hard to believe a couple of drama queens with such an outlandish story couldn’t be bothered to raise a phone and film the whole thing.
If this really happened, it would be on video. Robbie of “his husband” would have videoed it as would at least one bystander.
