Orange shag carpet in the main living room of a $169 million penthouse in NYC.
Gotta give it to the decorator though, buy a $10 roll of orange shag carpet, and tell potential buyers, "everything old, is new again".

Big difference to folks with 169 million to spend on an apartment
My rib has the scarf
I might get her a used Birken one day if I have a really really really really good year

I like it. With three bedrooms you don’t have to choose between raising chickens or goats.

Who knows, HGTV, could make a new series called, "Manhattan bargain hunters, Penthouse buyers".
At the end of the show, there is a doorbell two months later, and showing the new owners, enjoying a dinner, with friends. and the new owners saying, "Well it was listed at $169 million, but we put an offer for $125 million, and we accepted their offer of $139 million, and we are so happy now, except for the shooting in the subway"

A little cramped, but tasteful. I am not sure what to do with 6 full bedrooms though.

Let me spend well over $100 million to live in NYC and experience the pollution, congestion, crime and Covid tyranny for myself. Please!

He makes a big point about there being large rooms, but they all look so skinny. Long and narrow (except for the living room). I’ll never get to a point to be able to make the choice, but if I did, it wouldn’t be there.

"...How much land or waterfront property could you buy for $169 million?" At the current 2022 average of price-per-acre of Texas farmland -
about 45,369 acres.
