Had the black guy got total control of the taser, the cop would probably be dead because after being tased, the cop would have lost his gun. I have read that many cops have been shot with their own gun because they lost control of it to the criminal.

Though ugly, the cop was truly acting in his own self defense at that point.
But the way the laws and policies are, I’m sure they can make up some reason to fry him. Maybe the FBI can look into it and find that 3 years ago he missed a training class in diversity and therefore the police department is is partially to blame... Hahaha
Bottom line is if the subject black and the cop white you have a race issue.
If the cop is black and the subject is white there is no problem.
