I heard somebody suggest the reason for pushing puberty blockers is to keep kids in a state of prepubescency longer for sexual pleasure of pedophiles.

I just know from my interactions with transgender people, no child should be put through that. When Bruce Jenner decided he should live the rest of his life as Caitlyn he was a grown man. When I am watching interviews with young and middle aged people who regret transitioning or hearing from them first hand I have to say it’s reckless to trust any child with their sexual health and mental well-being.
Making this into a “civil rights issue” for political reasons is sick. Doctors will not be adequate gatekeepers of hormone therapy. There will be much rubber stamping. Look at how we ended up with the opioid crisis and drug resistant bacteria. Overprescribing. Gender bending hormones will be no different.
Not anything the dam school has any business being involved in, much less encouraging.

Teaching 10 year old kids to masturbate? I think Michael Jackson did the same thing, but he had to defend himself in court for it.

When I was that age, I didn’t need some teacher “advising me” on such personal issues and I sure as heck didn’t want to discuss it in my classroom.

Saw an interview with him yesterday afternoon and he looked like he was scared of the peoples reaction to it even hinted if there were parts the public opposed he would be WILLING to consider changes.
