Because the original ridiculous claim was allegedly made by an unnamed “Pentagon official”, and numerous fact checkers verify that DoD has made no such statement and the Pentagon even went to lengths to specifically state that nobody said such a thing. You are hopefully capable of googling this on your own. And why would the Pentagon give a rat’s a$$ who Zelenskyy is related to?

Bottom line is somebody (probably a Russian troll) made this s**t up to rile up a bunch of morons who see the scumbag Soros behind every rock and tree to give them red meat to defend Russia’s despicable behavior in this war.
