I just watched that whole video. The article makes too much ado over what she said. The whole thing is like a counseling session. It’s a Hollywood thing, I guess.
But, why isn’t the article talking about the more interesting part in that video? At 14:35, he says that, when they were first dating, one night she cursed at him in front of his little boy, so he hit her in the head with a newspaper. He said they would not use profanity with each other.
That’s not what a man who’s walked on does.
Now, he’s hit Chris Rock over something the comedian said. So, he must think hitting someone is justifiable if he’s offended by something that person said.
I don’t care about this couple or their marriage. Just saying, his wife didn’t stand up and hit Chris Rock. He did.

She’s a pretty classic narcissist, and a malignant one, at that.
To sit there and humiliate her husband (again), berate her mother and hurt her daughter is a public display of the fact that this minimally talented, cruel and abusive woman only cares about herself. Will Smith really could have done so much better.
