A friend of mine had to take a bush plane into interior Alaska with a bunch of gear. The guy loaded it too far back and they banged the back end trying to take off.

Luckily they didn't even make it off the ground, so they taxied around and the guy reloaded it.

They took off the second time.

But they just kept going up and up - the hard hit had damaged something and the pilot couldn't get the plane leveled off.

My friend thought for sure they were going to stall, but at the last instant the pilot did some maneuver and was able to get it back on the ground.
