Without socialism and abortion the Democrat platform is down to drugs, crime promotion and gun control. I would add corruption and open borders, but those are both parties' platforms.
Her views are wacky, but she has always had very good political instincts. She’s obviously made some political mistakes, but she’s generally been both evil, and very cunning.
Interesting how Pelosi is doing what Democrats always do - cause a problem but then blame others for the problem. Pelosi is just as Leftist as AOC et al and has been pushing the same things they have, but here is the key quote: “ that Democrats had alienated Asian and Hispanic immigrants with loose talk of socialism and callousness about abortion”. Note that it does not say that socialism and abortion are problems, it is the fact that AOC et al were being too open about them and talking too loosley about them, i.e. not hiding their real agenda from the American people.

Pelosi realizes the ULTRA-leftist (relatively) younger Democrats, such as the socialist/communist Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal, have no time for Pelosi. Too bad, Nancy.

AOC does have primary opposition - but he’s hugely underfunded. The primary is June 28. Maybe Pelosi could throw a few dollars his way.
It doesn’t look like Jayapal has any primary opposition - I’m not sure how Asian her district actually is. Filing deadline is May 20, primary is August 2.
