Well, there you have it, we are being told that a drop in immigration is bad for the economy.
We are not to talk about reports of big numbers of native born Americans who are not in the labor force for one reason or another.
Some reports are that about 30 million immigrants, legal or illegal, have come to America since the year 2000. That is almost 10% of our entire population. That isn’t enough?
If immigration is so necessary to survival of a country, what of some countries, such as Japan, which generally do not allow immigration? How are they surviving, if we are saying that immigration is so vitally important?
We need less immigration and more automation. Americans aren’t reproducing themselves per the last census and we have a surplus population that won’t work if you put a gun to their head.

........
This needs repeating! The corporate greedies put this cry for need of more immigrants out all the time. It is bull.
They need to pay more and assure employees of fair policies.
Maybe we could get back to time where a man could work as a shoe sales clerk for years while raising and educating a family.
To get back to better times, we need to trust bust down the mega corps, get rid of the current type of capitalism that generates such corporate monsters and support a reasonably regulated Free Market economy where everyone might have a chance to participate in the American Dream.
