Plus if you immigrate legally, you have to wait your turn, fill out the forms, pay the fees, etc. Anyone would have to be a chump to do so these days.

Where did the workers go that formerly had the now-unfilled jobs?

Maybe they wouldn't or couldn't work for slave wages. I've seen quite a few news stories where a company was raided, had to get rid of their illegal workers, and the next day the line of applicants was around the block.

Go look on any job recruitment site.

Jobs that you can actually support a family on (even modestly) usually have 200-300 applicants for each job.

Most people are willing to work hard at a job that pays enough to live on.

Nope. Too many people are not working, collecting government money, living at poverty level; because they don’t have to work. Lay around all day. Get a phone, internet, home, food; all for nothing. Sure, life isn’t great but at least they aren’t having to work. That is the attitude.

We have 41 million people on Food Stamps, the vast majority of which are able bodied but do not want to work because they live perfectly fine on government benefits.

Either the 'Bell Curve' is correct and these people do not have the IQ to function in a modern post-industrial society; The Unable, or they have the capacity but just won't do it; The Unwilling.

There are a lot of people who are outright unemployable, and millions who are only employed because of government; either direct hires or forcing private companies to hire their allotted share.

The Left believes unrestricted, taxpayer funded abortion is the answer, morality and consequences be damned.

What a fresh load of bunk, from SeeBS.

No, the labor shortage is NOT an *immigrant*/illegal shortage, leftist liars.

Please wait until I move the hell out of Northern Virginia before firing 80% of government employees.

Otherwise, nobody will be able to buy my house.
