It is pretty common for cultures to scream “witchcraft” when they see something they don’t understand.

My thinking they are in some sort of plasma field that eliminates G forces, thus allowing those types of turns is as far on one end of the spectrum as your demons are on the other.

I'll give you my theory on that. Back in the 1980s I used to study UFOs as deeply as I could. In that time frame I encountered documentation that was supposedly leaked from a Bilderburger conference that provided a roadmap toward a single government for the entire world. UFO lore indicated that UFO travelers are in contact with various governments; and, indicated that they would establish diplomatic relations with a single world government rather than 300 some-odd governments.

Now that we seem to be closing in on global governance, it is probably time to get people used to the idea that there is a Cosmic civilization to join.
