My wife and I enjoy occasionally eating natto, which is available at Asian supermarkets in the frozen section. They come with packets of mustard and sweetened vinegar sauces as taste options. Let them unfreeze in the frig or on the countertop. One styrofoam package has at least hundred milligrams of Vitamin K2-MK7, and if you let it ferment for another couple days, it acquires more, but starts smellying and tasting of ammonia, which the sauces counter, due to vinegar. Just eat them when they are first thawed, if too grossed out.
We also take a Vitamin K/K2-MK4/K2/MK7 supplement. The absolute highest amount, and effectively the level used to reverse calcium plaques by 50% in twelve weeks (in a prior study) is available in Koncentrated-K, but we normally take two Super K gelcaps from Life Extension.
Do note that doctors have to adjust older blood thinning drugs, based on knowledge of your daily intake of various amounts of Vitamin K. If you are on one of the newer blood thinners, Vitamin K has no impact, but you should still talk with your doctor.
Vitamin K is required, so taking drugs that deprive you of something needed for life sort of defeats the purpose of saving life, in my opinion.
Eh! Not interested in anything that benefits Democrats!
(Low hanging fruit, couldn't resist!)
Koncentrated K bump!
Sounds like they got Biden to take some tests. How did he do?
Rats ought to live forever for as much as we have benefitted them over the years...............
For Rats? I can’t believe democrats haven’t scarfed up the entire supply.
Please add me to the ping list.
Thanks in advance,
Tatt
That’s why I eat lots of spinach, fresh and steamed.
“Vitamin K in Spinach Each half cup of cooked spinach contains 444.2 micrograms of vitamin K, while a half cup of raw spinach only contains 72.4 micrograms.”

Recommended Daily Allowances
“Men over 19 years old need 120 micrograms of vitamin K daily. Non-pregnant, pregnant and nursing women 19 years old and over need 90 micrograms of vitamin K each day. The National Institutes of Health’s Food and Nutrition Board recommends that teenagers of both sexes from ages 14 to 18 should have 75 micrograms of vitamin K daily, and that children from 1 to 13 years old require between 30 to 60 micrograms each day. The recommended daily allowance for infants is between 2 and 2.5 micrograms.”

I have made natto and also within the last month. You use store bought natto to inoculate your soybeans. Store bought come frozen from Japan and go for about $2 for a 3 pack.
Here are the best natto making instructions I have seen. I used them last time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0hjr6clnHM You must soak and then steam the soybeans. Boiling them does not work.....
He also has a regular old website with more details and comments.

You are super serious about K2. You are in the K2 elite!
Pastured eggs and butter.
Danish cheeses.
I am on Warfarin for an artificial heart valve. Vitamin K causes the blood to clot and will interfere with the valve.
So no V-K for me!
