So sorry. Just yesterday I happened to be watching his amazing dance from Bye Bye Birdie on YouTube - “Got a Lot of Living To Do”.
He was the best singer for Volare. Such a happy song.
I’m getting too old. I remember him back in my youth.
We were planning on seeing him in Lancaster, Pa in September.

Hugo Peabody, the undertaker’s son, who gets the girl, Kim McAfee (the delicious Ann-Margret) at the end of Bye Bye Birdie. He played the part to perfection.
That was a fixture on the playlist of our local Oldies station KWIZ in the late sixties.

I remember seeing him at the Steel Pier in the mid-‘60s.
They were both good. It’s a matter of opinion though. It was a different time and such a good time. I don’t even want to get started on how screwed up things are now.
